How much I missed this. The brands are gaining too much confidence again, we gotta start bullying them

Unfortunately it is ineffective, since most brands don’t bother with such fringe communities, like here.

They already begrudgingly pay minimum wage to have someone write cringe inducing comments on the big platforms. That is, if they aren’t just using ShatGPT.

Besides, to be able to bully them, it would also mean they are spamming their crap here, and I don’t think it’s worth it.

So… my phone was out of battery, so I pulled out my power bank and connected the cable to my phone, but then I was feeling like I’m connecting two parts of an explosive device, I instinctively said, loudly:

    “BOMB PLANTED”

Now the entire plane is staring at me like I’m some sort of criminal.

No wonder airport guards started to break into the toilet after I gave birth to a fist-wide log screaming the same in a sudden mix of terror and glee.

    Parody account

…Basically indistinguishable from any regular Twitter account. Why did Elon want these accounts labeled, again?

What exactly is it supposed to be a parody of?

Just because someone uses it to try to be funny, does not make it parody. It doesn’t make it sarcasm. It doesn’t make it ironic. People love to use all of those incorrectly.

I can almost see the grey face of the marketing intern shuffling out of another pointless meeting to write this, debating whether their health insurance would cover jumping out of the building window.

They tried to say this wouldn’t work, but Bob the PM thinks its great and has ordered you to put it through. His only concession to your warning was “well, add an ‘lol’ or something to make it sound gamery”.

No. But I do sing the victory fanfare tune from final fantasy every time I do some small thing. Wash dishes? Victory! Laundry? Victory! Cook dinner? Victory! Take a shit? Victory!

Oh. Oh I’m not the only one. I’m not even an avid FF player; I just played some of the remakes on DS.

The victory tune is burned into my brain, as well as the Chocobo theme.

Ohhhh man I love the Chocobo Theme, and have also played like zero FF games besides XV, which was dogshit. But one of the teammates sings this cute little in-game ad jingle that uses the Chocobo theme, so I hear him singing it in my head every now and then.

This is awesome. I still remember that tune from when I played it. Funny how some people think positivity and imagination aren’t excellent things. You keep doing you! And I’m definitely going to be copying your idea!

Ok, if you have a lot of dishes to wash by hand, you deserve a fucking fanfare from final fantasy. That shit is hardwork.

I’m curious as to why you think it’s “lame as fuck”. Does it harm you? Does it harm them? Does it fucking harm anybody? Does it just seem like a quickly little weird thing that you don’t do but others might? The answer to one of those questions is, “Yes”.

TFW someone posts “don’t be evil” on a thing with the author credit scribbled out.

Screenshot of Twitter. Tweet by @GooglePlay made on March 13th, 2024 reads "Gaming really changes your life lol anyone else out here yelling +10 HEALTH when they finish dinner?" A reply tweet by user @RickAstleyGamin (which was scribbled out in the screenshot OP posted) simply reads "no".

For a proper plate of pasta you should at least get +40. If you cooked it yourself maybe even +1 skill point. If you fed someone, “you are now friends”.
