It’s true, but they do exist!
It’s true, but they do exist!
Something Awful has been around since the very early 2000s, and they charge $10 to get an account, and the same to reinstate a banned account. It’s actually pretty nice because the fee tends to keep all but the most dedicated trolls from doing anything particularly stupid. And yes, I know they created 4chan, but the main forums are trying to be better people over the years.
It’s not signed yet, so they haven’t paid for anything. The sales consultant believes they’re actually paying in ‘cash’ (which for these purposes could mean certified funds or a non-CarMax lender) and gave them the bill of sale to show them the amount needed.
Source: I work for CarMax, just not in Georgia.
It depends on the state, and whether he’s financing the veh- excuse me, ‘carrier’. Although I’m definitely sure that where I work, he would be politely told that he needs insurance, a valid license, and there’s no way he’s leaving with a TRP instead of license plates; he can’t transfer plates that are not recognized by the state, and he doesn’t live in another state that would let him leave with temp registration.
Finance companies are loath to turn down money, and as long as the sovcit presents at least some proof of income a lot of finance companies will accept them.
There’s one company I work with that requires a bunch of stipulations, but if they’re there, you can get accepted (with a ridiculous APR, of course).
Vehicle finance/repossessions and child support are also up there. This one is a vehicle finance company that I work with daily.
Looking at it, it’s so close that I would have believed it, and I see these all the time. I’ve never seen one saying they were sending the title to have the lien removed, but in the state I live in they send it to you and you have to take it in to have the lien removed. If this is a fake it’s actually decent.
Without a driver’s license no reputable dealer will sell to you. If you don’t intend to register, forget getting any kind of financing. Financial institutions require you to title the vehicle and (in most states) they keep that title until you pay it off. If you don’t register the vehicle chance is you didn’t title it either. I work with the finance institutions that partner with my dealership daily on stuff like that.
God, these people make me laugh as much as they make me depressed.
There’s a mention of this in Alan Wake 2, with a character saying “it’s not sad if it’s intentional!”
I’ve been playing Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name and I’m in love. This feels like a perfect bridge between Yakuza 6 and Like a Dragon. The play styles for fighting feel really clean and are actually fun, compared to some of the fight styles in earlier games.
I don’t know about spoiling enjoyment per se, but I do recommend at least playing 6. It sounds like you’ve already gotten through the early games. Are you enjoying yourself, or are you burning out on it?
This, absolutely. The claw catcher is my jam.
What did Dan do? I hadn’t heard about any controversy with him, but I’m not entirely surprised there is.
SUN-SOAKIN’ BULGES IN THE SHAAAAAAAADE
Had that same experience at work, and with someone who had just been hired and was being introduced to me for the first time. It wasn’t inappropriate but I’d heard it at least three times that week alone. She didn’t last terribly long in the office.
This is exactly it. Unfortunately, lenders don’t review documents the moment you buy the car, and I can confirm my job has had to do “return/repurchase” transactions for customers when their lender said “mm, nah” days or weeks after the purchase.
If they try to bond the title, the state will reject it and the lender will step up efforts to fuck them over for trying to circumvent the process. Circle of sovcit life.
