Why would I want to put anything into Threads or Bluesky? They are just other centralized networks with a corporate owner wanting to financially exploit my contributions.

This is the worst storm of the last century. There were maximum danger warnings yesterday starting early in the morning—I saw them from 800 km away. Yet I’m seeing images of people trapped in shopping centers, Ikeas, and similar places, both workers and customers. What on earth were these people doing there? Why didn’t the authorities suspend economic activity? What could possibly be so urgent that you had to buy it at IKEA during a storm like this?

I’m sure the US will protest this time with real energy and will then send another billion in military equipment.

I agree with you, and I am very happy about this victory in France. I was referring to the fact that the working class prioritizes certain issues that the left doesn’t always place at the top of their agenda.

I think it’s time to show that advocating for minority rights doesn’t mean neglecting measures in favor of workers. I believe this is true, but we need to demonstrate it now; otherwise, when the vote happens again in France, no coalition will be able to stop fascism.

I don’t understand why that should be done, the character stops being popular, so good writers stop having interest in working on it, they try to revitalize it with different stories, etc. whether the loss of popularity precedes the bad stories or not is not something that I am in a position to determine. In any case it wasn’t my point, I’m not a big fan of comics, I read it there and in movies/television, which if I continue a little more, it makes some sense

Well, I’m not a big comic reader but that’s what the story with Lex Luthor is about, right? how all of Superman’s immense power is useless against the intelligence of a rich and evil man. I think that is the most famous antagonist and that has transcended the comics the most for a reason. Maybe for fans it’s doomsday or zod, but for casual readers and the general public it is lex and it is for good reason.
