    I played one for like an hour with a buddy. It was kinda meh. That being said I think we need more smash clones on the market. Smash releases like what every ten years haha.

      All-star Brawl 1 wasn’t really a smash clone tho, and I think that’s why it didn’t do well. It used 3 buttons (light smash, strong smash, special) instead of just smash + special, didn’t allow rolling unless you tech, etc. It just required too much learning for a smash player to be considered a smash clone.

          I don’t think it’s too complicated, it’s just significant enough of a difference to prevent the game from being pick up n play for people who are used to Smash. I think All Star Brawl would’ve been much more successful if they stayed close to Smash’s control scheme, like Multiversus did
