For those not aware, Google is rolling out their new AI-based “Generative AI” search, which seems to mesh Bard with the standard experience.

I asked it today why Google no longer follows their “don’t be evil” motto… The results are pretty hilarious.

I asked Bing AI “is windows better than linux” and it gave the generic AI roundabout way of explaining that every system has its uses

Software is a tool. You should always use the right tool for the job - that’s the objectively correct answer

I know people like that and it’s so exasperating.

Q: Do you like Burger King or McD?

A: Weeeell, I think BK has really good onion rings and the burgers have onions, I love onions. BUT! McD has great fries and I love potatoes. So, it’s not really a matter of liking one more than the other…

I prefer them over BK fries tbh. McD’s are so soggy and trashy and that’s just perfect, it fits my expectation. BK fries are ok, I guess.

Tbh, I don’t eat either because there’s none where I live. I buy frozen fries, onion rings, and patties, and “cook” my own junk food at home.

I think it’s okay to like junk food and eat some once in a while. Hell, you could even eat it all the time, as long as you count the calories.

I’ve been trying to cook more, though. Not necessarily healthy food, but less processed.

We are coming up on the intersection, am I turning LEFT to Burger King or am I turning RIGHT to McDonald’s??
