Right now, I’m playing the early access version of Baldurs Gate 3. I’m getting ready to put it down (frustrated: BG3 has the potential to be good, but without controller support, I’m getting really frustrated with the UI. ) and switch to Yakuza Like a Dragon.
What are you playing now and what are you looking forward to playing next?
Diablo 4 for me! Amazing performance, it can even run on Ultra but battery is sucked dry within 45 minutes
Playing Diablo 4 aswell. Just finished the main quest line. Also currently playing Mass Effect Legendary Edition.
Does blizzard ever do sales? I have 40€ in bnet balance since 2016 and it would be good to pay ~40-50€ for D4.
I believe so, yes. Will be a while though until D4 gets a discount.
I don’t mind waiting. I got plenty of games to play.
This is the way
Have you tried lower settings to see if you get better battery life? Do you have any issues with the always online if you put it to sleep? I almost never exit a game on my steam deck unless I’m switching to a new one
Yeah, I can get better battery life on Medium. I don’t know how much more because I haven’t tried.
Putting to sleep means I have to close and reopen battlenet. Not a deal breaker for me because the process is pretty fast
Diablo 4 has been the move for me too. Easily installed and has been running great.
Holy shit! I had no idea it was that powerful. That’s a little tempting. I could never properly get into the Switch because I really love niche Indie titles on Steam, but Steam deck would solve that…hmm…
I’ve been pondering getting this. I must be one of 10 people who have never played a Diablo game. Do you think 4 is approachable for newbs to the franchise?
I definitely think so yes. Don’t worry about any build guides, or handholding. Build your character however you like! I’m having a great time and I’m nowhere near a hardcore player. If you keep it on World Tier 1 (difficulty wise) you will be absolutely fine. It’s a blast to play.
I think it is imo. The story seemed totally disconnected from previous games and can stand on its own.
