Which is a good thing, I think. The good thing about keyboards is that they can control (to various degrees of efficiency) everything going on on a computer.
It’s an allrounder and imo does many things well.
I’m not denying that there may be better ways to play games (although some outright require a kb, e.g. games with a text chat), but games supporting keyboards is good and natural considering their allrounder nature.
There are ergonomic keyboards for those that want them. Look up something like the “Glove80” Keyboard.
