Kinda refuse to believe that every single person on threads is going to post low quality content. I’d argue that content made by a bunch of people not constantly thinking about the fediverse will help the fediverse. Let’s be honest, lots of the content posted on fediverse apps are somewhat forced because we all want this to work.

I started just taping over the lights of anything in my bedroom. I figure if it also makes a goofy noise when it turns on, thats how I know its frickin’ on.

I still used instagram because I’m basically forced to. It’s the only platform that (almost) all my IRL friends are on. It’s a terrible platform for friends though. All people ever do now is send me stupid fucking reels. Honestly my hot take is that facebook was never as bas as Instagram currently is, but people will never leave.

I think there’s a sweet spot for how many other resources are out there. JavaScript GPT answers are pretty good. But when you get to a less popular language like Elixir not so much
