May I ask what does .nix files do? I have joined unixporn community, and when I look into the dotfiles of some nix os user, their config are all written in nix rather than .conf or some other prevalent files. Should I learn nix if I want to use nix os? Or can I config my apps such as waybar in a way just like other systems (such as arch)?
I am new to Linux and the concept of “rss”,I have use fluent reader on Linux and feeder for Android to read news which support rss service. However,I still don’t understand what is aggregator and why do I need it? The only thing I have done so far is copy the rss link and paste to my rss reader. Could anyone eli5 to me?
Are you running 1.19+ of conky? Have you installed conky-all? I am on archlinux and I didn’t find “conky-all” package.I have install conky-cairo from aur, and it is 19.1.2.However,it is not working with out_to_wayland option.
Hmmm…It doesn’t work for me in hyprland. The output also said that “output_to_wayland” is an unknown option.
Do you need an extra configuration to make conky work on wayland? I have tried it in hyprland but it acted like a window rather than a widget.
Would younlike to share your ncmpcpp and mpd config,I actually had a hard time configuring it.
The music player look nice. What is it?
Can you share some examples? This concept is too obscure for me to understand.
