It was suggested by the sign up process at the top of which domain I should join. I don’t remember how, it’s already a blur, but afterwards I saw people saying the registration process needed to add a way of directing users to smaller instances as a thing to lighten the load and stop everyone going to lemmy.world and it confused me because that’s literally what happened to me.
Anyway I also noticed it had a steam deck community and that was good enough for me.

1·1 year agoIndeed, it’s pretty surreal. Working on my D4 Druid as we speak, whilst happily awaiting BG3. The fact my daughter is due to arrive the same month it releases makes the nostalgia extra surreal.
Honestly haven’t given FF16 much thought tbh. Not played FF since 10. They’ve all looked kind of interchangeable since then. 9 was special for me.
Mine is sorta like this, it’s pretty quiet but then also happens to have the biggest Steam Deck community.
My top 3 games of all time:
- Final Fantasy IX
- Baldur’s Gate II
- Diablo II
