As long as those autonomous backhoes are equipped with lasers, I agree that nothing can go wrong.
This is a cool defense against something I hadn’t even considered as a possible problem. Unfortunately it’s Windows-only for now, but I’m looking forward to this becoming more mainstream.
I’m definitely here for more alternatives as well (and because I haven’t yet figured out how to save a post without commenting)
Trying to get context? Straight to jail.
I wonder what Aesop would have to say about this.
I’m all for it. I’m not sure what laws actually exist in the USA related to this, which is, I imagine, why it’s so pervasive. Some states have started passing legislation to help their residents protect their privacy, but until we have something on a national level it’s going to be an issue.
Even though it seems like common sense, our current society is ruled by profit and extraction, not decency. Throwing CEOs and boards in prison with a lot of publicity sure could be a way to change that…
This is a great question. Nothing like a good end of Link’s Awakening cry.
At least it sounds like the weather cock had a good time.
For real though, great work. I played through the original Link’s Awakening on Gameboy when I was but a wee lad, and have played through various re-releases. It’s a blast every time.
Shouldn’t you change your account info to something fictitious, though?

In the Darknet Diaries episode linked below, Bowser shares his experience living in the Dominican Republic and how that all came to an abrupt and unpleasant end.
Thank you for this! I figured it was the usual mix of 1) a term based in reality, 2) a dash of sci-fi / dystopian tale, and 3) a whole ton of crazy.
Excuse my ignorance, but is there something going around about 15-minute neighborhoods? Someone pretty kooky mentioned something about that to me just today (in relation to Chattanooga, I think, but I didn’t exactly follow the crazy train of thought). Something about how they’re monitoring everyone and they can’t take more than 100 trips outside that zone or something. I know it’s all nonsense but there’s also usually some tie back into reality.
It does sound pretty impressive that each loop is 4,435.2 inches
