You are correct most often precracked just need to be installed, look for the download page for instructions if there’s no readme. Patches are often .exe’s that you run and cracks are files you can drag and drop into the installation folder (there are exceptions of course)

I found that seeders aren’t an issue with private trackers, my downloads are faster because of it.
