I keep seeing people urging to go back to cast iron or stainless steel, but when I left the nest 5 years ago, I picked up ceramic pans, and you can use them the same way as teflons and I have yet to lose the nonstick.

Just one server, but multiple “services” (i.e. Jellyfin, Minecraft, Discord bots, Wordpress, etc). Server is kind of a misnomer there
I am LITERALLY in the process of migrating my servers to my new NixOS server after months of prep work. This couldn’t have been more timely lol Funniest part is, I just did my own TPM based encryption on my drives.
In addition to the mentions that this isn’t encrypted, doesn’t have video chat, etc, it’s also difficult to set up with little documentation and an enormous tech stack. They also had some recent controversy about open source licensing that gives me a bit of worry. I decided to go with a self-hosted synapse server.
That’s right, everybody knows that the left and the right are perfectly equally bad, and the act of voting to stop the bleeding and starting a revolution are mutually exclusive /s
And then after years of this nonsense, people wonder how the poor voter turnout that got the fascist elected happened.
It’s mildly entertaining at times to scroll through the reviews of the HEIF Image Extension in the Microsoft Store. Microsoft doesn’t care one bit how bad they are.
I’m as late as millenials get and I got a 4 😭 I never recorded radio to cassete, I never rented from Blockbuster, never listened to a boombox outside, and never used a rotary phone. I had the advanced technology of touch tone
Not to mention, the documentation to set it up was awful, it took me months to get it working and I still had problems with the MinIO container so it wouldn’t upload attachments or pictures for profiles. Even getting past that, the stack required more containers added after the fact to support voice chat. I gave up when I saw drama go down last year about how the project wasn’t fully open sourcing.
The only thing Windows has ever done with my HDR is decide for no reason to put insane contrast and color temps on my displays. Then I have to flick it on and off repeatedly until it looks a bit less terrible

It doesn’t look like you can draw in your notes, but this looks good! I think I might give it a try.
I really want a FOSS solution for my notetaking, but I feel like I want too much. I love how well OneNote works with my Surface in terms of drawing notes, but I also love writing notes in Markdown and graph structure. I’ve at least been trying out Dendron for the latter, and it’s been alright.
Starts with “no, it wasn’t EXACTLY the same salute because his wrist angle is 0.0001 degrees different”
Then “no, he was just being sarcastic, no one can just be ironic anymore”
Then “okay but it’s not that bad, he’s not literally putting people in concentration camps”
Then “okay but it wasn’t my fault, I’m a good person”
Agreed. I remember enjoying their workshop videos a long time ago, but they can’t even be trusted for PC building info, much less anything else.
There’s nothing quite like fresh mozz
I managed to never drop a penny on Epic. The game launcher relaunch with all the propoganda put me in a state of “voting with my dollar” where I decided I’d give it a year or two before I tried out their storefront. Then when they decided to sick all the fortnite kids on Apple in this pathetic attempt to get attention on their case, I was like nope never buying a thing. Apple of course, can also eat my ass
