I’ve used both syncthing and recently resilio. My Syno NAS has their own app Synology drive. All three have worked great for me.

Syno ds920+ w/2 16’s & 2 6’s. Use: home docs, pics, and a Plex server.
QNAP ts233 with 2 6tb for “off-site” backup sitting on my desk at work connected to the guest wifi backing up the home docs and pics from the syno.
Tell that to my 92 YO aunt in Austin, she’ll give you an ear full.

He committed suicide by shooting himself in the head 5x whilst jogging.
Same. Then I looked for an alternative app that comes on on boot. Found one called Karma FW on fdroid
That’s what everybody said, but they were saying the CIA is taking similar routes to get whatever they want.
I brought this up at work and somebody said we sold our soul in the us with the Patriot act.
I use both bitwarden and chrome.
I lurked real quick. I don’t get it though. There’s no communities that I see on there just peeps to follow. It’s like mastodon without hashtags, trending, news, etc.
The article lost me at fees. I saw a friend from Ireland last summer. They looked at us apps like cash app & zelle like that’s cool - but the app we use doesn’t charge instant fees and is not traceable.
On the other hand, this could be the death of physical currency in the us?
They’re gone. The YouTube link in the article was from 7 months ago.
And I’m just a poor slob that owns 2.7 shares.
Thank you. I haven’t been on there for a month I was just curious. Am using wefwef now and love it. I hope to see the Lemmy community grow so there is more to enjoy like Reddit has been for the last 10 years for me. I’m going to miss it as a resource but I’ll be ok. Happy 4th.
Thank you for your reply. So infinity will continue to support reddit until further notice?
Dumb question. I’ve been off reddit and here for about a month. Today 7-2 I opened my boost app and infinity app and noticed new posts. I thought all the api apps were shutting down 6-30?
follow up - i never considered offsite backups for my data. i have a ds920+ that’s got some big drives in it and thats all i need. but after reading this post i considered backup. what i went with was a qnap ts233, a wifi adapter, and 2 6t’s that i had replaced with bigger ones on my syno. My syno is my daily driver and the new qnap sits on my work desk at the office, syncs with the syno, and backs up my photos and docs. Happy with this back up method. Thanks for the great post.
What’s the ETA for the infinity app for fediverse?
Google maps is pretty damn good though - but I do like Waze for road trips
Wait, this happened like 4-6 months ago. Zlib is still alive and well, they just send out individualized links per user id when you search something.
