Ah, get it. Thanks for explaining.
Living in a part of the world where we don’t really tip I have to ask, is tipping your landlord really a thing?
This is only counting confirmed dead games. There are still loads of game companies and shot loads of stupid peoples money to be drained.
Absolutely agree. I was about to play the devils advocate and try to find ways, that this could happen by accident. If it was on PC it could’ve been the Ubisoft launcher (or whatever it’s called) which accidentally took window focus.
But this is on Xbox and PlayStation. That can only mean that it’s in the game files. That does neither happen by accident nor by technical error.
The only error could be, that it was enabled before they meant to. But no, this was 100% fishing for reactions.
At this point I’m beginning to feel fine with it. If you care, switch to Firefox, you probably already did, if not, enjoy your ads.
I used to work in IT forensics - there’s nothing that will ever be worse than the things I saw there. People are freaking scary.
But outside work I’ve seen my part of shit, puke and other strange fetish videos, and people being blown up or driven down - being on the internet in the early days sort of made you numb to those things.
I will say that I saw a paper cut fetish video once. That shit hurt through the monitor.
Is this a screenshot of a post with a screenshot of a post? We ARE going to need a software engineer it seems.
Works fine in Chrome here?
Neither do we in Denmark. I think that’s generally how Europe works. The price on the menu is the price you will be expected to pay. Nothing more, nothing less.
If I have a restaurant or bar experience out of the ordinary or just have pleasant time with the staff I will tip. Otherwise I won’t, at it will be perfectly fine for everyone.
Not that I think it’s a good idea, but to be fair, you’re only noticing the bad and extreme cases. There are subtle and fine cases too that just don’t draws attention to them.
I think it was a Nilfisk. Today I have a Roomba and a Phillips.
Unfortunately it’s not that easy.
They have already got a large sum of F16’s, but it takes training of Ukrainian pilots before they can be used in combat.
From what I understand they should be ready to fly in early 2024. That still a long time to go - but you don’t want to lose pilots or planes because of inexperience with that type of airplane.
Or even make it till 20:57
MEANWHILE IN SAN FRANCISCO…
I may be part of the ‘cult’ - I watch it once or twice a year when it’s shown in the local cinema.
But I won’t defend the movie - it’s really bad in every possible way, and the background story of how it was made is at some points also sketchy.
But sitting with friends and others who knows the movie, and have a fun time yelling quotes is just that, fun. Nothing more, nothing less.
From time to time I bring people who don’t know the movie, and I make sure to inform them, that they should expect the worst movie ever, but perhaps the most fun they’ve had going to a movie.
Mid 1940s it would’ve been a great laugh.
Thanks for the feedback - I’ve installed Pop OS tonight and installed bnet, wow, unreal engine, rocket league and steam.
Battle.net had a few problems because of the host file, and Vulkan apparently needed some fiddling - but at apart from that, I must say everything runs smoothly.
I look forward to test a lot of things deeper - but for now it very much seems like an experience I could get used to.
Denmark checking in. No tips, delivery is mostly fair priced, I’m actually waiting for food at the moment, delivery was free.
So absolutely justified … I’m more concerned about the choices I make on food.
