Ugh you’re not joking. Many of my friends that game complain about the same thing, yet getting them to try any new game that isn’t League of Legends, Apex, Dead by Daylight or Destiny is like pulling teeth.

The worst part is that most of those games have an endless grind or some sort of FOMO mechanics that encourage people to keep playing even though they’re having an awful time.

Right? Yeah, piracy is the reason people don’t go to the movies. I feel you on getting insta-sniped. The squad play thing unfortunately seems like a problem in a lot of games these days. People just seem less interested in using in game voice chat in general.

I have no problem restarting a new character for a season. It gives a great reason to try new classes or builds that utilize the new season mechanics.

What I would want to know is what happens to the season’s “gimmick” or “mechanic” once it’s over? Like, season 1 introduces new gems and new dungeons to farm them. Fun! But is that only for the 3 months Season 1 is out and then never again?

Damn. When you look at it that way, I could probably justify attempting a lot of difficult things that way. Thanks!
