the Arch wiki has some info. Not too sure but i think enabling the systemd timer is enough.
why do you say apt is the worst pm?
There are many instances. you’re free to choose one in particular(maybe one specialized in your language or hobby or country) or just go with one of the big ones like mastodon.social. See https://joinmastodon.org/servers
Yes you can subscribe to lemmy communities and new posts will appear in your mastodon feed.
So happy they migrated to the new engine. Previously i was getting single digit fps near the 25 minute mark and now it’s smooth :)
It’s been a while since i tried installing a fitgirl repack, what issues specifically are you getting?
If you just don’t know how to do it at all this video may help: https://youtu.be/gVuabEckMMA
It’s a bit overcomplicated but you only need to get the general gist how to install and to point the executable inside Lutris.
I believe youtube-dl are just slower at accepting merges. For example yt-dlp were the first to mitigate youtube’s speed throttling and idk if the base project has it even now. It’s still functional but may be slower.
lspci -k

Yeah she just uses the keyboard to input a few fields very quickly. It’s that machine’s sole purpose. But I assume it’s still connected to some network to get data about ticket availability and I wonder how secure it is.
The old lady behind the counter at our bus station is using dos to print the tickets
Firefox in general is faster for me than Chrome in many pages
However a notable exception are web games and web based game emulators. They’re a lot slower on Firefox and i get horrible sound crackling whereas on Chrome its much better. It’s been like this for years with no seeming improvement.
Could you elaborate a little bit why you like Android notifications more?
Discourse also has a fedi plugin, although it’s not finished yet afaik
ugh don’t remind me… i get your point but i still wish for the Fediverse to become more accessible
btw there is a Tiktok clone for the fediverse called Goldfish, although i haven’t tried it lol
also, nice username
Same here but i’m afraid we’re not really in the majority.
