I’d personally not worry about the yellowing. I’d say clean it up to remove actual dirt and scuffs and don’t worry about the discoloration. Yellowed electronics are peak retro. Hook it up to an old yellowed CRT monitor.

Well I guess reading that is now a permanent memory for me.
They argue the definition of the word “drive” so you can’t use that. I’m not certain where their definition comes from, but they argue that “driving” is only for commerce. So that’s why they always say they are “traveling”. So they don’t need a driver’s license because that is only for someone using a vehicle for business. From all I’ve seen, this typically results mostly in fines and court appearances. The fines they refuse to pay and they claim they can’t “appear” somewhere.
Just send them your 1099-A to pay the membership fees.
That’s my understanding from my various rabbit hole dives into this stuff. The percue prepaid envelope mentioned I believe is some kind of thing where they are levying the charge of postage against the millions of dollars that they believe is in a secret account. So they are probably invoking some obscure unrelated regulations and saying that the postage is covered through that.
I remember being in like a GameStop or whatever the store was prior to that in my area. The tvs in the store were playing a teaser for the new Zelda game that was going to be coming out. I think this might have been like very early concept of windwaker before they went with the cartoon cell shaded style. I remember there was a sword fight between I think Link and Ganon. I remember thinking that games had peaked at that point. Of course we didn’t end up getting exactly that, but the memory remains.
No experience. All bad experiences means more potential for either a lot of unchecked baggage, that person is the cause of the bad experiences, or both.
The casting choices are really questionable here. Looks like the casting was done to bring in a generic movie going audience that watches movies based on the cast, but this was only going to succeed by appealing to the actual fan base. Jack Black and Kevin Hart don’t need to be in every movie. I’m surprised Chris Pratt isn’t in this honestly.
Even though it’s right in the post, I missed what the implication was supposed to be about calculating the number. You’re supposed to get 666, but they are really bad at math and think 6 * 11 is 666.
If I’m reading that message correctly, this person is claiming to have beat charges for kidnapping and armed robbery by just not acknowledging his name? Wild stuff.
I’m getting lost trying to follow this. What are we even attempting? Is this supposed to be a way to pay bills without money? Is it for a specific type of debt, or are they going to Walmart and doing this to buy groceries?
I love these posts so much. It’s fascinating to me. I have watched documentaries about flat earth from a similar fascination. I’d love to see something similar with sovereign citizens. I’m really interested in seeing how people come to believe things like this.
If you’re trying to not exist in the eyes of the government, why use the systems that are in place by the government? Shouldn’t this person be hiding in a cargo hold to travel outside of the country? If you’re evading the government, you gotta go all in.
John Hancock does. He doesn’t exclusively do Atari, but he does cover Atari stuff. https://youtube.com/@johnhancockretro?si=TvBLLiBYTsCTeTyC
Super Mario World 2 is a really amazing game in both the mechanics and graphics. The game did some awesome stuff with both. It really set the way for Yoshi being a main character instead of a side character as well. Don’t sleep on it because the baby crying is annoying.
I love Hellblade. That said, it probably isn’t for everyone. It’s very much about the story and the atmosphere. The puzzle solving is kind of unique and the combat gets the job done. It’s a beautiful game game with great storytelling and atmosphere.
Hoopla is for library systems. We are rising up against public libraries now? I don’t understand that and Tubi being on this. They are both free.
I don’t know what these would really be alternatives to, but I impatiently await every new game from Daniel Mullins Games. Inscryption was a fantastic deck builder and I more than got my monies worth out of it. I also follow Stranga Games pretty closely. Very small developer makes story focused retro style adventure games. No combat at all generally. So if you like a casual experience and that style of game, it might be something to look into.
The controls and camera, as with a lot of games at the time, aren’t great. I’ve played it as an adult after me and my friends being obsessed as teens. I’d guess I’m not the only one that played this game in a friend group and played the hell out of the capture the flag. I think the attraction to the game came a lot from laughing with friends. The main game has bright spots in gameplay for sure, but it can be a real chore at times too. I remember watching the single player struggle even back then.
Now I really want to start a business selling this stuff. I wonder if there are disclaimers on the site just in case someone tries to sue for it not working. Or are these people so convinced that it’s all on the government that sueing someone selling this stuff wouldn’t cross their minds?
