i do not understand at all why waxing your mustache is fine but plucking your nose hairs is not!

But the tldr is an infection inside your nose can get into your brain somehow and it’s way more likely if you pull the hairs out vs trimming them.

Idk it was 15 years ago and i’m no scientist but the evidence available to me at the time was compelling enough that i quit it!

my record is 23 nostril hairs at once!

I used to pull them out instead of using a nose hair trimmer because it was easy and doesn’t realy hurt if I do it fast.

Then i learned you can get awful brain poisoning from doing this if you get an infection so i had to let the record stand there about 15 years ago. Best record before that was only 14 so I was quite excited to get 23.

the suspension is barely loaded, I’m guessing AI or Art Vehicle and that’s all a shell. I owned a work truck with an 8 foot bed and when it was loaded the tire would be way up in the wheel well more. Could be some super suspension but my money is it’s not really what we are seeing. The suspension being perfectly level with the ground makes me think AI as the vehicle is designed to be level with the rear loaded. With that front loaded down too the nose should be pitched down a bit.

Okay well being free to do something doesn’t magically make it a real option. The truth is whatever comm gets the biggest following first is the one everyone goes to. Are there even any exceptions to that that aren’t entire communities agreeing to move together off instances?

For literally the entire time I have been on lemmy I have heard laments about the centralization of comms on lemmy.world and seen attempts to mitigate it but every pie chart just shows lemmy.world with more of the pie because growing a comm on small servers isn’t simple!

I only ever had the soylent in the bottles. I was really surprised when i tried unflavored soy milk and it was almost the exact same flavor as the white bottles! Soylent is just soy milk with vitamins in it!

personal anecdote; I spent a year barefoot as a teen after dropping out of high school. The only time I had anything on my feet was orthodontist visits they said i couldn’t go on without flip flops but nowhere else cared.

After about a year of this the callous on the bottom of my feet was so thick i could walk a few hundred meters on summer asphalt without a break and once got a small square of windshield glass embedded in my foot and it just plucked right out and left a square hole, zero pain at all. The pads were about 3/4 cm thick at the ball of my foot and 1/2cm at the heel.

I did this after reading about this effect in a book and wanting to see if it was true and it really was!

edit: also if you try this i should mention that your feet pads turn black and are impossible to clean really just get to a less dark black. most other people find this offputting.
