It’s also a long weekend for some.

My cameras are wireless. Some I recharge every 3-4 months, the others are powered by solar.
My city has both benches and these. I like these because I can lean on them without removing my backpack. I think it really depends on the City whether their hostile or not. I also noticed McDonald’s has them in their order waiting area too.
Thing is. Good chance your neighbour was probably a victim of crime. A few nights in a row I was making supper and someone was trying to get in my place by trying the handle. My packages also started to go missing and a few years ago someone walked into my apartment while I was trying to wrangle my cat because the fire alarm was going off, pretty sure they wanted to rob my place because they left without saying anything and got freaked out when they saw me still there. It’s nice having it because I can see who is at my door Without putting myself in the line of fire, and it deters people from pulling any bullshit while I’m not home.
It’s understandable that it’s a bit annoying it’s pointed right at your door. Mine doesn’t face anyone’s door. Just the hallway, you could ask your neighbour to install an angled adapter so it’s not facing your door. Personally I treat my building hallways like I would treat any public place, and always assume there’s a camera somewhere. There’s also a very good chance there is CCTV in your building already if it’s a larger building.

Attach the dongle to your wired headset.
I am almost positive the Steam Deck 2 will be the same design with upgraded hardware, maybe additional USB port or something.
Valve put a lot of RND into the Decks design and ergonomics. I think it would be a waste of money to change it. Money i would rather them use towards an OLED screen or something.
Marty’s mod uses the fake light sources to convert into path traced sources. This is SS level change and not something done in engine. Think of how ENB or Reshade works. This is a plugin for Reahade. Your lighting mods will still work (and will still be recommended)
Community Shaders is also working on doing a complete swap of SSEs lighting system at the engine level that will not suffer from the massive bugs CE has and will be much more performance friendly than ENB Lights.
It’s a very exciting time for Skyrim modding!
Same. This video I fairly accurate: https://youtu.be/odhMmAPDc54
Not quite done with the last riot and want a new one it seems.
200 iq move by facebook, now they have the biometric reading from the nail on your middle finger
Consider it a blessing.
Yes. I’ve searched manually for most of mine based on my people i follow on Twitter, they are not all there, and they will be missed. I’ve got a few mirrored accounts I’m following, but it’s not the end of the world if they get cut off from the blue bird (they are mostly sports team feeds). I have also gone back to RSS feeds for my news feed. I like the social aspect of Twitter, it’s just turned into a hate platform that scientifically exploits its users by making it addicting to doom scroll. And the interactions I’ve had on Mastadon/Lemmy are way more wholesome than there, fediverse really does remind me of the early days of Digg/Reddit/Twitter.
Agreed. Have been on Steam for almost 19 years. Nothing has really degraded as far as the service goes, and Valve’s approach to listening to community feedback is good. We’ve saw controversy, mainly Paid Mods and CS:GO gambling, both have been taken care of for the most part due to community pushback. I can’t think of a controversy that has made me want to leave the service though. With Reddit, it was a slow decline to its death on July 1st.
That’s a big nope from me lmao. Mastadon seems to have alot of the important accounts I follow from Twitter. Liking it so far, no algorithm playing with your feed, no corporate advertising (unless you subscribe to it), no blue checks spreading insane conspiracies.
It’s funny how Spez idolizes a guy who doesn’t pay his bills. It’s also funny watching the hate pplatform Twitter get absolutely destroyed by its owner. The internet in 2023 is a wild and crazily changing place.
Unraid
Hoping to host more eventually, just need more ideas.
Portable gaming Pcs. I would love to have my entire library of games accessible offline. My emulation folder alone is like 500gb. I also wouldnt call myself a normal user though. These definitely have a niche market and probably a price tag just as niche.
