Considering I’m hosting this for family/friends they get rather confused about this when launching a movie and its in Russian… While its easy to change it would be more convenient if they/me didn’t have to. Sometimes movies/shows also strictly only download the movie in Russian even though my settings are applied to only download English stuff.
The world getting slightly more cursed 🫥
Interesting acquisition, wonder what will happen with Port Master. Seems like a good thing though(?) IVPN has a high reputation and do develop solid tools themselves. Port master on the other hand seems to be lacking marketing and polish in my experience.
This likely means Arc Browser will be discontinued…(?) Question is, will they open source it before its left for dead.
Pixel art is most usually associated with low-resolution, retro anesthetics. However, the term “high definition” /“high-resolution”-pixel art refers to pixel art created at higher resolutions, where the individual pixels are smaller and less discernible. Which allows for more detailed and intricate pixel art designs. This is more and more seen in games, such as Eastward, Dead Cells or Backbone. Examples of low red pixel art would be Stardew Valley, Pokémon or Rain World.
Though games can incorporate both methods. Such had high res backgrounds and low res features and characters.
Recently tired Ubuntu on my work laptop and it was a surprisingly pleasant experience compared to all the negative things I’ve heard about Ubuntu. Especially the installer was next level simple.
Curious if you’re still rocking suse today?
Came here to suggest the same app! Seriously good app.
Can follow the artist on BlueSky for those interested in Pixel Art.
Dayz, 3500hrs and still ticking.
They have different projects there each year, but it’s based on what people talk about and use. AFAIK, there has been almost none links for updates to OMV here on Lemmy for example nor do I personally hear about it very often.
Also, they’d didn’t even include Unraid as an option in this survey so it’s a bit weird to call them out for that?
Yes they do have some advertising, but it’s completely tracking free and not those stupid dynamic adds other podcasts go for. It’s not an easy job keeping multiple podcasts series alive with barely any advertising. So in this case I’m happy unraid sponsor them, it’s highly relevant to the show/listeners and it’s an amazing NAS OS.
I’m sure OMV is a great OS, but compared to other options such as TrueNAS or proxmox it’s nearly never mentioned.
No not all Debrid services are under the same jurisdiction. The reason this has been a topic lately is because most of these services have been hoisted out of France specifically. And the French are extremely strict when it comes to copyright and DMCA, to the extent that they actively hunt down the individuals hosting such services through their social media. One fine example of this here. .
So essentially just need to stay away from countries hosting their services through France as it’s more likely to get shut down.
Hahaha this got me good, just finished watching Silicon Valley.
Yeah I’ll avoid editing these I think, doesn’t seem worth the hassle.
