  • It’s 100% moral to pirate Ubisoft games. I exclusively play Anno, since 2070 I DON’T pirate them.

I love the series, but I’d be happy if Ubisoft went belly-up tomorrow and never saw another game in the series. It’s a fair exchange to see a bloated, rotting corpse of a monster finally die.

  • It’s overall an awful situation, there isn’t any “both sides” because both sides are shit and would happily genocide one-another. One side just happens to have the means to actually carry out that genocide, making them especially more shit.

What’s the morally correct thing to do: Am I supposed to put a Gaza flag on my social medias and gush about how Israel is terrorizing and destroying them and say that I stand by Hamas? I already shit on Israel because of their genocide. However, Hamas would (once again) do the same exact thing if given the chance.

Specifically picking a side is stupid because if Hamas could, they’d do the exact same thing.

  • The Microsoft Blogpost keeps mentioning customers and I’ve seen it mentioned a few times in this thread, but it almost seems like they’re gearing this towards businesses and not 100% average consumers. Then again, they do mention 365 subscribers so maybe they are. Either way it’s such a waste that an OS would shutter anti-virus support for anyone who doesn’t pay a subscription.

Also, a ton of people here keep saying how this will drive users to Linux. No, no it wont. It isn’t the first shitty thing that Microsoft has done to their OS, and it won’t be the last. Older and average people won’t take time out of their day to swap OS’s and learn terminals.
