The massive generalization in the post title deserves a downvote, honestly
If you take the largest instances and sum the subscribers you’re probably 99% of the way there for most communities. There may be outliers, of course
Except on /c/reddit ?!
Probably by having bdsm sex
That would be hella weird as a guy
They don’t own it, that means they can’t know about it?
I still think it’s hilarious that Facebook renamed to Meta, and anything they did with the “metaverse” was a huge failure. It’s like they didn’t learn their lesson from Second Life.
I mean there’s no way this is intended behavior. Others are confirming as well. You can just delete others’ comments along with yours (or at least their appearance in the thread)
It does for me. I also checked on the website, not logged in. feddit.de instance
One great way is browsing an instance’s communities, as the instances often have a specific theme as well these days. Like programming.dev
Not defending spez, but their business model was not designed to support third party apps, that much is true. How they went about “fixing” that was completely dilletantish and dumbfounding, though
Honestly I don’t think the UX is bad. Sure, a few things could be improved, but it’s in a great overall state, especially considering its current growth rate
To me, all the complaints in this thread are a great filter. It keeps away all the people that are too lazy and/or incapable to figure out basic things, which are not the people I want to interact with online anyway

The sun is expanding into a Red Giant and that’s why it’s getting hotter, obviously /s
What’s that?
This sounds a lot like someone who is already in a relationship
That sounds a bit harsh. As a guy I can tell you it can simply be due to long distance. If there is little perspective to see each other regularly it’s easy to lose interest, especially if it’s not your first relationship and you haven’t spent that much time together to begin with like in this case
He’s the founder. He wants to cash out. He’s doing anything to get there.
That’s more than just an empty suit. Someone with a backbone would have gone a different direction
Why?
