My pronouns are she/her. You can call me ScratchySoft or Scratchy. Not Soft though. That’s weird.
I’d list what accounts I have on other platforms to discourage impersonation, but the character limit is too short.
Are you sure that won’t also get a bunch of false positives because it detects that a file is a keygen or crack?
And what about other stuff?
So how do you check for viruses without a bunch of false positives?
So how do you tell if a keygen is a virus or if it’s just being detected as a keygen?
Does Usenet work over college wi-fi? I’m not sure how that would work.
A lot of VPNs nowadays don’t even have port forwarding and such though, including Mullvad as of recently. Not to mention how many of them end up being compromised relatively easily.

Sounds quite messy. I… Am not smart enough to do that stuff, unfortunately.
I see… Alright then. I’ll go take care of that.
I should probably take down the ROMs I uploaded, then?
I used Soulseek for a while, though I eventually stopped because there wasn’t anything interesting there for me. Just music. Music is cool, but I’m mainly looking for ROMs, and not just the stuff anyone can find in any No-Intro set within five seconds of googling.
What are new people who actually aren’t cops supposed to do?
It won’t though, you need quite a few active users to sustain a community. The issue is potential users are often turned off by the lack of an active community, and the lack of an active community is exacerbated by a lack of active users. Unless you know how to get around that besides “post into the void and hope other people pop up somehow”… I don’t know. I forgot where I was going with this.
I’ve seen someone unironically whine about how the mods were harming more users than Reddit mods. And of course, r/AskReddit’s pseudo-neutrality is infuriating.
I’m not sure I’m able to seed, unfortunately. College network doesn’t seem to like port forwarding, and Mullvad disabled port forwarding recently. That and I don’t have a lot of storage space and I’m worried about getting a scary letter from my ISP. At least the scene I’m in is more DDL-based than torrent-based. Makes things easier.
Not sure. Maybe I’ll do it with my releases, I dunno. I don’t exactly release any high profile stuff though, and I typically just avoid torrents because I’m afraid of getting a scary letter from my ISP. Perhaps that’s unwise though.
Damn, nice. You have backups of this in case it gets taken down, right? I’d back it up myself, but storage space is a premium for me. Part of why I mainly deal in ROMs for older systems. That and aftermarket games for older systems are not well-preserved, especially older physical aftermarket releases.
Oh god, of course they are. Haven’t checked on Microsoft News in a while, but the last time I did, they were promoting tons upon tons of transphobic propaganda.
