A sovereign nation who’s leadership drank the NATO kool-aid against the protest of their nuclear armed neighbor, goading them into a fight. The victims are the people of both nations.

I actually have a position.

No one is justifying the acts of Russia. They should not have invaded! But to act like there is no pretext to conflict and Ukraine is completely innocent is disingenuous. Peace is the better option.

It’s like you have an opinion and don’t all at the same time. Maybe reconsider your position.

Russia has definitely not engaged in total war.

The contradiction is saying that allowing a country to defend/enforce its borders is appeasement. The implications is that to do so is aggression.

Seem contradictory to use charged language like 'appeasement '. And then to say you want everyone to coexist peacefully. It seems to advocate for containment which isn’t peaceful coexistence.

Context: I was raised in Chico during the rise of Sierra Nevada. I was drinking hoppy beer before it was a thing. I burnt out on the whole thing around 2010. Went to Germany and fell in love with their beer. So drinkable. I’m just really impressed.
