sometimes they want you to use the rape scanner.
Uh… What’s a rape scanner?

I mean if Harris had won it’d be “President Harris and President Biden” so if there’s supposed to be a difference here you’re not highlighting it.
I mean of course. Iran and Russia are this close today specifically because Trump showed Iran that the American-led West can’t be trusted by unilaterally reinstating sanctions, and that same Trump will become president in three days.
Obligatory Iran and Russia aren’t good guys either disclaimer.
Russia supporting the RSF? Russia is supporting the Sudanese military; it’s Wagner that’s supporting the RSF. Definitely true about Assad though.
Didn’t you hear? Trump is Khamas now.
It’s also funny how Netanyahu played himself because one or two days ago Trump sent an envoy to him basically saying “end this war now I don’t have the time to deal with your shit” and it’s suspected this had to do with the ceasefire deal that suddenly sprang up.
They’d love not to, but they probably will for the same reason they even accepted the deal to begin with. If we believe that the ceasefire deal is real, then something made Netanyahu think signing a deal now was a good idea. Signing a ceasefire deal this late into the game, too late to save Israel’s reputation but without accomplishing the war’s initial objectives, is strategically a bad decision so something must have changed and while until we know what that is we can’t make predictions but I’m cautiously optimistic.
Note: I’m of course happy about the ceasefire, but with the information we have available I don’t understand why someone who decidedly doesn’t care for Palestinian lives (or really any except his own) would accept this deal.
Nimrod was abducted by Hamas gunmen, along with the rest of his tank unit, near the Nahal Oz military base during the 7 October attacks. He was 19 years old.
“Abducted”? Okay say what you want about the civilian hostages but this guy wasn’t abducted; he was captured. He’s a POW.
That aside why the change of heart from Netanyahu?
I might not understand how Christianity does these things, but wouldn’t putting Jesus on coke be sacrilegious as fuck?
That’s true when the limiting factor is how many people are willing to kill, but Israel has those in spades. The limiting factor here is the number of people available to kill (people who don’t evacuate in time, those who enter buffer zones, etc etc). Anyone who’s able to be killed will be killed, so 200 fewer soldiers won’t actually change the number of war crimes being committed in Gaza.
Oh that’s what you’re talking about. You should say that sooner. Anyway you should note that October 7th had clear military goals (66% of Israeli casualties were combatants); nobody here is supporting the actual killing civilians part. Hell, I don’t think there are any straight up Hamas supporters here specifically because they’re too willy nilly about killing civilians (and because of the whole theocratic dictatorship thing).
You haven’t answered my question: What do you expect Palestinians to do?
If First Nations Americas started an intifada like on oct 7 against my neighbors, would you disagree with their strategy and disavow the people who claimed responsibility, or would you defend them?
First Oct 7th wasn’t an Intifada, but that aside: Native Americans got human rights via the Civil Rights Act; they don’t live in Apartheid and they aren’t being expelled from their lands. I sure wouldn’t blame them for rioting though.
Their self-claimed right to religious jihad?
Their right to resist colonial oppression, yes.
but i disagree on violent means (jihad and by establishing a state).
How else do you want them to obtain human rights? Because anyone paying attention can tell that Israel will not give them any unless forced to. The Palestinian nonviolent resistance project ended up as the monstrosity known as the Palestinian Authority. Israel actively killed the only major peaceful resistance group in Palestine; what do you expect Palestinians to do?
Their end goal is to jihad Israel until they are gone, wiped off the earth.
Yes, and? Nelson Mandela’s ANC fought until the Apartheid was wiped off the face off the Earth too.
We’ll just assume the Jews will be safe, I guess?
I mean I guess yeah. How that’ll work out will depend on what form the conclusion of this conflict takes, but colonial peoples do tend to face this problem when their rule ends.
but I don’t want the world to lose the Jewish people
Okay and? Even if the genocide you’re assuming will happen was likely (which it isn’t), why is the hypothetical genocide of Jews more important than the real, ongoing genocide of Palestinians?
Yeah what do you find objectionable in this? Nowhere does it deny the right of Palestine’s non-Palestinian Arab residents to stay there.
Literally their charter.
A lot better than the Taliban, that’s for sure. The Taliban are a whole thing on their own when it comes to women’s rights.
Hamas does not want peace with non Muslims, especially Jews.
They do, though. Setting aside the fact that there are Christians living peacefully in Gaza, Hamas updated their charter in I think 2017 to reflect that. It has always been Israel rejecting peace deals, not Hamas.
I mean the other guy seems to not understand that ideas spread geographically so yeah, not a good look.

Yo it’s the end of the FlyingSquid saga (maybe).
