If you want no DRM, you are basically only going to get your games from GOG.
Why emulate ? The Master Chief Collection is available on PC. It’s missing Halo 5 though. And then Infinite went ahead and cancelled this whole storyline.
Unfortunately, the company is now empty of employees, so the road ahead will be entirely different.
Not much of a studio the guy bought back. Just a name and some IP rights maybe.
The Sniper Elite series is basically nazi-killing porn. Those won’t let you down, especially if you enjoy unplanned testicular detonations happening to nazis of any kind.
Circuit Superstars runs beautifully on the deck. Do not be fooled by its top down point of view, it actually leans towards simulation rather than arcade (aka “simcade”).
On the other side of that coin, BlazeRush is full on arcade mayhem. It is also top down PoV, which I find lends itself very well to portable gaming.
Guild Wars 2 has been my theme park MMORPG of choice on and off for the last 12 years, with >2500h. I have also spent ~1000h on Elite Dangerous.
The secrecy must be unrewarding, but it’s the best defense against lawsuit-happy IP holders. When word of mouth begins to spread, you better be ready to release and run because it’s only a matter of time before Nintendo’s lawyers start gunning for you.

Excellent show overall. Season one was riveting, but season two felt rushed.
That’s barely 15 months of console exclusivity for a flagship title. Sony’s getting there with PC releases as time goes on.
Reminds me of Guns of Icarus, but on land and extraction shootery.
Sure this is about protecting their bottom line. However the argument that this contradicts the Apple vs Epic verdict seems sound.
Pretty original mix of brawler and tower defense, with a presentation reminiscent of Okami. Avaiable on Game Pass and has a demo on Steam.
Like its predecessor, it’s basically “2D XCOM with skill shots instead of randomness”. Highly recommended, perfect for gaming on the go with a Steam Deck or Nintendo Switch.
Phenomenal game, if a bit short. And another impeccable PS5 to PC port from Nixxes.
OMG it’s finally happening !
Prince of Persia The Lost Crown looks like a banger, but I am unwilling to spend any amount money on it until Ubi gets the memo and strips Denuvo from it (at least outside of the launch window).
