I think a lot of people might not realize how strategically constrained international relations are. There are only so many possible solutions to this conflict and Trump’s incompetence or malevolence can only interfere to a certain extent. Especially when others within the government who are negotiating this deal have real interests in protecting Ukraine.

That said, I think the most likely outcome is no deal but we’ll see.

Yeah that’s part of it but also it’s just really tough to do fine adjustments and it seems to jump all over the place. That’s the bigger issue though the lag is a compounding factor.

Not sure if this is related but I’ve been using project 64 lately and the control stick seems way more difficult to use than the original hardware. Anyone know why this is? It makes it really tough to aim.

It’s just posturing to project strength and appeal to his base who want a strongman dictator. He did actually talk about buying Greenland during his first term as well. It’s probably just because it’s somewhat near the US and could conceivably be acquired without starting a world war. Not that I think it will happen.

Thanks for sharing, that does sound good. I really wish people would take a stand on Palestine though. That might be enough for me to vote for someone else alone if there is another option. We’ll see. It’s gonna be a long 4 years before we really dive into this stuff. I don’t want to fear-monger but there is a real chance the next election will be subject to major interference.

Maybe. He and important members of his coalition have been very supportive of Israel in the past. I don’t think it’s as simple as you say. Some of the isolationism the coming out of his mouth is more myth than reality I think.
