Yes NewPipe is great, just watch what you want, no ads just the channels you’re subscribed to !! But I wonder how this YouTube blocking experiment is going to affect NewPipe as it’s not using a YouTube account for watching…
I’ve used https://tails.net/ for a while, works nicely and interesting !!! More developed for security…
