honestly I figured it’d be the result of all those people running deletion scripts on their accounts
They come back online in the sense that they’ll become visible again, but if they don’t allow it to be used that’s still basically shut down imo
It’s nice and very active, but you might want to look up a tutorial or something, because the UI isn’t very intuitive for new users (it’s good once you know how it works though)
I’m not very familiar with Instagram either, but it’s infamously bad for its users’ mental health, it’s recommendatiom algorithm is unreliable, and it collects a lot of data. Honestly it’s possible that a lot of its regular users do like it and that I just don’t tend to hear from them

Discord is a likely contender, but I think it’s likely to be Instagram. It’s got a very dissatisfied userbase, and there’s already a few reasonably active pixelfed servers

I understand that self identification is more convenient than a list of policy questions, but I kind of wonder how many of them count as conservative by the standards of twenty years ago, or even by the standards of people twenty years older than themselves
Do these conservative teenagers believe that gay people shouldn’t be allowed to marry? That a war against Islam is a good idea? That wives should submit to their husbands?
