Have had this issue for around 5 weeks now. Been using the mirror with the Swedish TLD.
“Good, but makes me annoyed it existed to begin with”
Bruh… It’s an article…
Unfortunately that’s not really viable, since there’s a heatwave currently sweeping over europe (thanks climate change <3) and his room is at 30 degrees centigrade even without any servers running.
I tried it once, made me cry.
Karl would be proud
There’s always Plex and emby, but if the videos didn’t play in jellyfin I doubt they will play in those two. You are probably lacking hardware support for the codec you’re trying to play.
Reminds me of the guy who stared at the lamp for days
Edit: found the story, unfortunately it’s on reddit but oh well…
This is the reason I got rid of snaps
Deep Rock Galactic at around 300h
I am currently using a prepaid since I’m abroad, so I can’t port forward unfortunately. I installed Goldberg emulator and used hamachi, the lag was really bad but not unbearable and overall I enjoyed the game. Also I’m not on windows, so I’ll just have to wait until the overlay thingy gets ported to linux.
It is IIRC. In the eu I think its mandatory that declining cookies is as easy as accepting.
Oh thats cool. Does that mean my friends whom I want to play with need to install this too even if they own the game?
Edit: Ok I got it working, that was surprisingly easy, no hassle, just drag and drop. Looks like we both have to be on the same network (makes sense due to the nature of the emulator). I wonder how much delay a VPN like Hamachi would add, since I already have terrible ping from living in the countryside.
Not sure what you mean by Goldberg, but building the game from the source on github results in a build with steam networking, which means connecting to servers just gives an error “steam authentication failed”
Oh okay thank you :)
I figured this out pretty early on but still getting this error. Weird.
I wish there was infinity for lemmy :(
I thought it was typed “a URL”, not " an URL"
Not sure though, dont kill me, English isn’t my native language.
