It happened to me last year or something. Reset your password and it’ll be fine. It was probably leaked.
Or do the smart thing and stay here instead. :)

Right, got it, thanks a lot. I’ll stop downvoting in that case, except if something is really offensive.
Alright, a question for you all about down voting. Is the platform, or the apps made for it take it into account for feeds?
ie, if I down vote everything I don’t like seeing does it get removed from my feed? If so I’d just down vote and move on. If not, I’d probably not down vote, but even if I did, I’d feel like I need to give a reason behind it for the poster to know.
I’d hazard a guess that most people down vote you not because you don’t want to use steam or that you want to pirate, but rather because it’s most likely something wrong with your setup and you can’t be arsed to figure out what the problem is. Which might end up being a lot more serious than simply being unable to launch steam.
IMO, figure it out, get your system to work properly and then go pirate if that’s what you prefer.
I’ll have to go through that thread post by post when I have time.
Depending on the game I switch between Xbox series, kishi, ps4 or dualshock 2, the latter I think is my favorite controller. I have tried a few others in the past, like Gamesir stuff and a few other telescopic ones for phones but didn’t stick for me.
However I am of the opinion of playing a game the way it was supposed to, if possible, ie I’d rather use a 3rd party n64 controller for n64 games.
I am not sure if Lemmy can handle it, but if it can, I want to eventually start a thread on controllers per system, with linked reviews on comments, either mine or from the community. But I doubt Lemmy can do that. Perhaps a wiki of sorts. Eventually.
How are those emulation devices? I really want to buy that rg35xx but I think it’d really bother me trying to play say ps1 in such a small screen. And of course ds stuff wouldn’t be that good considering the one small screen.
Still haven’t managed to get into MAM but abtorrents is pretty damn good so far. Haven’t managed yet to search for something I wanted and be unable to find it.
Not knowing what you’re looking for, I can’t help much. But I found a whole lot of art books on cgpeers and gfxpeers in the past. But registrations are closed now I think.
Last time it got so bad that I started duping to be able to function there with a new character without nolifing the game. Something which I had promised myself not to do ever in this game, ever since I learned how back in 2007.
I heard a lot of people with performance issues, luckily I never had that problem myself for whatever reason. Regardless if it was with the new or old engine.
Then again, if I ever decide to play again, I have an entire roster of lvl1 chars with the entire set of the store QoLs to go, from all the keys to the gardens, to stupid amounts of VP/tokens, to banks and portable stores and even endgame armors and a complete set of twinking weapons/armors for every skill/ability at every breakpoint. So it’ll be easy to get back into it.
Though I doubt I ever will again.
Meanwhile, 162 days and counting for dead space.
Doesn’t make me want to buy it, without trying it out first, but saying hours to days for denuvo is…a joke really. Sure there were a couple of games that were cracked in a couple of days, but that’s a handful of them in the last 6 years or so. Most take a long, long time.
It’s not. Most of the time it’s fine, but there have been cases in the past that they added their own DRM in the games.
Mine would be Anarchy Online. Still around, though FC has ran it to the ground and not too obscure, considering it used to be quite big before 2005ish, but almost nobody talks about it in EU and the few times they do is to comment on the dreadful launch.
But I doubt there’s a game I’ve sunk more hours into, playing constantly from release up to 2011 and then on and off until last year. Eventually I figured out it’s just nostalgia and it’s not worth it anymore, the time, let alone the sub.
Last I checked, if you had an account from back in the day, you could still play on the servers, even with other people (there is still an active community on discord for events and raids and pvp and such).
But no. Don’t play that abomination on steam.
I really dislike how it went full plugin mode. It annoys the hell out of me that I don’t have an app locally. Plus it looks a bit iffy to me on data collection compared to other password managers and the fact that it’s located in US doesn’t fill me with confidence about privacy.
I use dashlane and I want to change. Any ideas on something that can offer the same functionality?
ie awesome with input fields for autocomplete, ability to save documents and with a good android app?
A week and two updates later. FPS stays at 15 but for some reason now I get a warning that it needs 8gb ram that I didn’t get before and tge loading times are much worse.
The game is playable, being pixel art and old, you don’t really feel the 15 fps and they don’t make it unplayable or anything.
That said, I wouldn’t play this game on a phone anyways even if it run at 60 locked and I fully understand that my s9+ will never be good enough for yuzu. That’s not a criticism of the emulator whatsoever, just reporting how it plays on old exynos phones.
Do you happen to have a good guide I could follow? I really like the idea behind playnite and how good/useable it can look, but I get lost every time.
If not for the rest, at least for emulators/retro gaming.
I really, really want to use it instead of having a bunch of launchers for pc and emulation but it’s too damn fiddly. Cant get retroachievements to work, normal achievements tab is forever empty, no way I found to have a unified control scheme, most of the plugins I tried do absolutely nothing, like the deal finding one, I could go on.
Not saying it doesn’t work, obviously it does. But it doesn’t for me sadly. And I can’t spend a week on trying to get it to work. Two days of following guides online, did nothing for me, so I just gave up.
After my last visit on r/piracy, I’m of the mind to close it down for good and if reddit wants it back they can do so themselves.
Sure, there’s a few people there that honestly ask question about the community since they weren’t checking reddit at the time, but any attempt to explain has people insulting me. They want to stay there? Fine, cut ties and let them moderate it. That means they inherit a community someone else worked hard to build but whatever. With the attitudes I notice, they are not going to manage to keep it running for more than a few months anyways.
Next step in the saga, Sony buys off EA as a counter attack.
