Hey all. So I’m EXTREMELY new to Lemmy and this is my first post EVER, so please don’t yell at me if I’m doing something wrong. I have been trying to find a specific album (flac if possible) but I can’t seem to find it anywhere. There are no actually complete discographies for the band, either. Any help or guidance is much appreciated.
Edit for typo
try nicotine+. or soulseek.
I will give those the old college try, me hearty. Aye and thank’ye.
Always glad to see Gizzheads in the wild.
I’m a huge TOOL … and the sub on reddit wouldn’t shut up about them and I can understand why. I personally don’t feel it’s as much like TOOL as they say, but it’s prog psychedelic metal and I like it. I like it a lot.
They’ve very quickly become one of my favorite bands after my boss introduced me to them last year. Each album has such a unique sound to it, and they cover so many genres. They also put out like 2-4 albums a year, which is maddeningly impressive.
Their latest album has some big Tool influences, especially drumming wise
Ah, influences for absolute sure; polyrhythm drumming makes my dick wet and my panties hard. I was under the impression that they sounded like TOOL, but that could’ve been my misunderstanding. In any case, they are fucking awesome and my face melts right the fuck off every time, even without the acid. \m/
Right on! Apropos polyrhythms, this live version of Gaia is off the charts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRVE_-th1EI (solo around 4:05)
Here is an alternative Piped link(s): https://piped.video/watch?v=SRVE_-th1EI

I’m open-source, check me out at GitHub.

This one? Flac is split in two parts.
Found via Google, seems legit.
A parrot to every pirate on your ship, matey. Thank ye kindly! Jamming out to it as I type this!

WOOOOOO
Soulseek has your answer. Just grabbed their entire discography last week
I’m going to have to read up on Soulseek. I literally just rejoined the high seas yesterday, and I have to catch up on all the changes as it’s been years since I last donned my eyepatch. Right now I’m running qbittorrent and just ducking for magnets (google sucks, search with ducks!).
Qbit has a search function built in, just check the toolbar and show the search tab
Thanks! I’m still exploring the interface.
Deemix should be able to grab the FLAC for that album from Deezer, but you’ll need a free Deezer account first to load the API key into Deemix
You won’t be grabbing flacs with a free account. Free is limited to 128kbps.
320 and flac you need a paid account
