I wanna play the boktai games but they have a weird light sensor thing on the cart, how do I emulate it?
NanoBoyAdvance is probably what you’re looking for? It also happens to be the most accurate emulator (as per their claims).

There’s proprietary emulators out there, which support them. MyBoy! and UltraGBA should both have solar support.
Which ones are those? There’s so many GBA emulators in g play
You could try Lemuroid and Retro-Arch. You’ll have to download apk files for both of them - they’re not on Google Play.
I have fdroid versions of both, mgba does not have a standalone android thing. I patched my ROMs. Will try today

You either have the option of patching the ROMs to use button combinations to emulate the sun effects or there’s a python app that aims to emulate the sensor itself
