I see variations of this argument all over the place. The thing is, if you mistreat an entire population of people for several decades and they get the opportunity to repay that in kind, who could blame them? At some point the violence needs to end. The people of Israel should understand that. Unfortunately, it seems they do not.

International courts have told Israel to stop many times and they rarely, if ever, listen. Why would this time be different?
I mean it wouls be nice if court ruled what is Palestinian territory and declare the occupation after 1967 as officially illegal
