Could see, didn’t happen yet. People should take the suggestion and protect themselves from it though.

Heatwaves like these always happen in south European countries during July, nothing new. Probably the hottest month in these countries.

If it does indeed reach that extreme will be very scary though.

Ah right. Guess that hottest temp ever recorded last week was nothing to be concerned about.

Just a climate troll doing your thing based on your comment history.

Lemmy starting to feel like Reddit all over again. Attacked for pretty much anything that isn’t sucking dick to the common belief going on.

The “common belief” is one that is based on very real data showing that human activity is increasing average Earth temperature at a dizzying pace. Where’s your data proving that this is normal?

You were upset that Lemmy seems to be copying the Reddit culture of dogpiling someone who has a different belief than the herd. I’m here to say that my “belief” has ample data backing it up.

Worst of all is that I didn’t even said I have a different belief, people just can’t read or are too eager to attack someone. I said that hasn’t happened yet, like the article said it’s just a prediction. Everyone came attacking me anyway.

So yeah. Not very different from Reddit and mods 🖕

What bullshit did I spread anyway? Am I lying? July is indeed the hottest month in southern European countries, I should know it I’ve lived in one for about 20 years now.

I also said if it happens will indeed be scary, not denying anything. This is yet another censorship cesspool just like Reddit. You can blame Reddit admins for much, but about of 70 percent of the issues are from its users being toxic af.

Max temperatures in Sicily (the hottest region in Italy) reaches 42°C (not 48) in August (not July), so it is quite a difference. It will really be miserable and outright dangerous for a lot of people, not only scary.
