I wish I could stop, but I can’t. The gentle warm air breezing past my nostrils, the faint sweet scent of heated silicon filling my lungs, it calms me, soothes my shattered nerves.
I need it, that sweet nectar, the caress of the fumes. It makes me feel whole, like being safe in the womb once again, a rare comfort in this cold world.
Don’t know whether to call it getting steamed or getting decked
I will not.
But it makes me better at gaming.
The next trend after RGB.

It’s also just a single support person responding to a single request.
It’s not the same as a published FAQ or whatever that at least in theory has a higher degree of purposefulness behind it.
Yes, it’s funny how they don’t want to support huffing vent fumes, but at the same time they don’t want to say that the device they sell is emitting toxic fumes.
Walking a fine line!
I don’t think it’s really recommended to directly breathe any computer vented air
Do I get a sweet settlement for my time in the server room/my office?
Call now if you’re a victim of mechathelioma.
And people somehow still wonder why we end up with stupid warnings/disclaimers on stuff.

Turn off motor before fucking!
Thank you, Sandler.
You can’t take my vent fumes away from me.
Well, I wasn’t planning on it, but now that I know it’s an option, I’ll be sure to take this up when it arrives!
Thanks for the idea, Valve!
Wait until you learn how sweet lead paint chips taste.

Regardless, the vent smell itself dissipates over time as it is barely detectable on my original Steam Deck.
Bruh, spoilers.

❤️
Huffing my steam deck fumes, getting the munchies and eating the single hot chip and washing it down with the panera lemonade.
Don’t forget to leave an experiential narrative on Erowid.
Honestly, no I will not stop. Been doing it on my Thinkpad and will continue
I have a pretty bad dust allergy, so I avoid electronic exhaust as it’s usually high in dust. But I had to admit the warm air feels good blowing on your face when you are waiting for something to load.
I can stop whenever I want … BUT I DON’T WANT TO!
Now I want a Steamdeck even more dammit
Aside from the idiot fanboy crowd, who has data?
Literally 1984, don’t tell me what to do you gosh darn liberals!
