I wonder that L•🔛 🦌 is gradually destroying this massive 🐥 because this is one of the vast, fastest and easiest networks where people instantly flock all together to hear trending news and get more informed and connect to each other. If this falls down absolutely, people will hardly/not know where to gather (more specific/unfiltered/less censored) information anew or they will eventually just receive less or up to no news/info from the Internet especially amid serious events on behalf of powerful people wanted to dispel the noise about their schemes and mischiefs.

(Despite misinformations on every site) There are official news press, real journalists, company official pages, officially public servants, active advocates, active celebrities and figure people and ordinary people (who witness/experience those events) on this platform, so it is why people are still visiting and keep always coming back just for them. Without this, people will eventually need more time and effort in browsing “everywhere” on Internet just to confirm the source by the real people.

Hence, this is(?) heavily visited by (real) online people, and now, this is having deteriorated by the underwhelming current administration with disappointing decisions and now frustrating implementations.

there is no doubt there are some people wanting control of these networks not just for profit but to limit communication, look at how these algorithms are meant to divide us. people obsessed with being on the “same site” while that sites software divides them further than you and i communicating on different instances.

I don’t believe this is just “what the users want” esp since I know what people like Spez and elon like to push for and have no qualms controlling these networks as they think thats what others have been doing even though thats the farthest from the truth.

And its clear control is a big goal, altering posts, shadow bans and more have been perpetrated on these central networks with no way for anyone to know whats happening.

The good news is, this is not how the internet works, most of these companies are on the way to making the commons spaces they created irrelevant. Putting the walls up and controlling speech while screaming free speech has never really worked on networks with open protocols. Its too easy to switch ultimately, people just have mental boxes.
