The best troll would be to just openly allow actual direct link piracy on /r/piracy. if reddit bans /r/piracy, then it functionally re-privates the sub (the thing they wanted to avoid). And if they allow it, then it’s a bastion of actual piracy. win-win!

Problem is, if it’s privated or open, they can still point users to this community
Not possible if it’s banned; another would probably take its place
I like the idea of trying to get as many DMCA requests against it as possible so that reddit has to deal with them
