Have you invested in a Wi-Fi 6E-compatible router yet? Perhaps you never will, since the next-generation Wi-Fi 7 standard could appear in iPhones beginning in 2024.
Don’t worry, the improvements between 5 and 6 are not really needed for home connections which is why I skipped it. WiFi 6 improvements were mainly around channel selection and wider bands to allow larger amounts of clients to connect to a single AP in a large campus environment. It could help at home, but only if you have either a single AP, a LOT of devices connected, or have a lot of interference.
