IMO, I think there are issues with CalExit that has nothing to do with politics.

My two problems with it is…

A: The signature counter hasn’t changed for months, at all. It has been stuck at 210,031 signatures for a long time now. To me, that doesn’t instill trust in Marc Ruiz Evans.

B: Why is this petition attached to a “CaliNation” crypto currency? IMO, a crypto currency is supposed to be used as real money, and I don’t foresee this particular thing as being that.

There are four days left for the CalExit petition, but I am doubting the legitimacy of the person running it.

Allowing the state of California to research the option of secession is important to preparing for all possibilities, but it feels like Marc Ruiz is unserious about getting this petition through.
