Summary

Poland is facing accusations of widespread human rights abuses at its Belarus border, including violent pushbacks of migrants who are later subjected to torture by Belarusian forces.

Despite these allegations, the EU allocated €52 million to Poland for border enforcement. Prime Minister Donald Tusk has maintained harsh migration policies, refusing to implement the EU Migration Pact requirements.

Rights groups warn that Brussels’ reluctance to confront Poland sets a dangerous precedent, with Oxfam stating: “The EU must stop bankrolling this pushback policy.”

This is horrible, and all of this only works because we’re so racist in Europe that you can use poor people fleeing from war & destruction as a weapon.

I never said that. And I literally said it’s horrible. I said it’s Europe‘s fault that human beings can be weaponized because we’re too racist to let them in. If we wouldn’t want them to be beaten and raped we could protect them. We just don’t want to.

I think you have your head on backwards or you’re a troll

Why isn’t it their fault for going towards a dangerous hostile place and seeking out situations that will lead to abuse.

I don’t head over to war zones. I stay where it’s safe and don’t wonder off that path.

When I travel I follow the rules for each country I visit. I don’t try to enter illegally and then accuse them of something.
