We don’t have money to party.
This is just another example of how out of touch rich people are.
Seriously. I read the article, and the entire time, it was just a bunch of facts that all pointed to how poor our living conditions have become under mass surveillance, the commodification of the human experience, and dwindling bank balances, with the completely wrong conclusion that people are just lazy and don’t want to be the one to throw a party.
Might I suggest union meetings instead?
Depends on the kind of party, it might not take a lot of money. But it does take time and energy.
We party because we either have too much time, too much money or too much to celebrate
We don’t have any of these things
Bourgeoisie headass: You need to party more!
“You” in question: can I have this weekend off to party?
Bourgeoisie headass: Fuck no
Who has the time, money, and energy these days?
Andrew WK, come to us now in our time of need.
(Seriously, though, finding a local social club has done wonders for my social circle.)
What’s a local social club?
It’s kind of like an Elk’s Lodge. Mainly it’s a bar with cheap drinks and cheap food where everybody has to pass a background check.
They have holiday events, but mainly it’s a place where there’s all sorts of people, a whole bunch of regulars, and where the bartenders know your favorite drink. There’s even a guy named Norm.
Ugly ass AI slop
Indeed. I was amused by the random cello.
I don’t party because I have anxiety, but I have anxiety because I don’t party
