I just used temp-number.com to receive a verification code (no cell towers where I live). I was shocked to see that someone had sent their Bitcoin wallet info to the service.
I got their username, password and verification code. Their account is worth over 60BTC. That’s over $2,000,000.
No I did not steal from them, but holy cow I can’t believe how incredibly stupid that is.
So be mindful when using these, they’re fully open to the public to read.
Oh, I’m not involved in crypto to begin with. That’s good to know though, it makes much more sense than someone being that careless.
