Are you like me and love your iPhone/iPad/AppleTV but are jealous of your Android cousins with Kodi? Do you not want to deal with a developer account, sideloading apps, and resigning over and over again? If so you’re in the right place.
Requirements
This guide is applicable for iOS/iPadOS/AppleTV devices. Once you set it up everything will sync seamlessly to all of the above. Here’s what you’ll need to download and the costs involved:
-
Infuse Video Player App Store
Prices for Pro: $1/mo, $10/yr, $100 Lifetime -
Real-Debrid Website
Prices for Premium: $4/mo, $10/3mo, $18/6mo -
Orion Website
Prices for Premium: $1.50-$3.50/mo, $200 Lifetime
Average Total Cost: $7/mo or $300 Lifetime + Real-Debrid Premium
Process Summary
What you’re doing here is using Infuse as your media player (it’s gorgeous btw) and connecting it to Real-Debrid via the WebDAV option. Orion is a scraper you can use right from Safari on your iPhone and sends links directly to Real-Debrid which we just connected to Infuse. They all work together and sync up harmoniously.
The only difference between this setup and Kodi is that you’re scraping externally on a website via Orion instead of in-app.
The Process
-
Create accounts on Real-Debrid and Orion. Upgrade to premium options on both with whatever packages fit your needs.
-
After downloading Infuse go into the app options. Click “Add Files.” Under “Saved Shares” click add. Now on the following screen under “Network Shares” click the WebDAV option. Name it something appropriate like “Real-Debrid.” IMPORTANT: switch the protocol option from WebDAV to WebDAV (HTTPS).
-
Swap over to the Real-Debrid website. Click on “My Account” near the top of the page (it’s pretty small). Under “Account Informations” in the second box you’ll see the WebDAV info. Copy/Paste the WebDAV URL (NOT the http folder option), your username, and your password into the corresponding fields in Infuse. Connect. BAM now your Infuse and Real-Debrid are linked.
-
Go to the Orion website. Login and click on the Account option. Now click the “Services” tab. Click Real-Debrid and “Authorize.” It will copy a code to your clipboard and take you to the add devices page on the Real-Debrid site. Paste the code into the field then name your new device “Orion.” Now you’ve linked Orion to Real-Debrid for transferring your scraped links.
-
Search for a show or movie on Orion. On the results page find the source you want (some are single episodes and others full seasons) and click the cloud icon with the little arrow. That will send and resolve the link to Real-Debrid. Once it confirms it’s complete you can then access the media right from Infuse on ALL your devices!
Conclusion
There’s a bit of a learning curve with Real-Debrid and Orion searches, but no more so than using Kodi. Tinker around with it and you’ll settle on your favorite kinds of links and become more comfortable with the process. It’s just as powerful as Kodi and syncs all your pirated streams/sources to ALL your Apple devices. Enjoy!
Absurdly priced lifetime purchases are…well, stupid. I’m still not convinced having 3 different subscriptions is worth it when there are tons of other free options available that are just as good, and I pretty much so refuse to pay for software on a monthly basis on principle alone. But if you’re happy with it, it’s your money. $7 a month is obviously better than $200, but that’s a silly comparison.
