Christian “Schuldenbremse” Lindner. No money for education, public transport and energy investments but the feeding the war machine is completely within budget.

No, we want Russia to unconditionally surrender right now. But since that’s unrealistic, we want to provide Ukraine with the means to defend itself from a blatantly imperialist invasion by a fascist state.

You’re just throwing those terms around aren’t you?

You don’t understand what imperialism means. US/EU capital is looting and exploiting the former socialist block and controlling it through western capitalist media, NGOs, military bases and coups. That’s imperialism. The Russians preventing Nazis from doing ethnic cleansing along their border and demanding not to be threatened with a gun to the head is not imperialism.

And if you think Russia is fascist (I don’t think it is, but reasonable people might disagree), what do you think about Ukraine? The Ukrainian state funds and arms Banderite groups and promotes Banderite ideology, which is a straight up fascist, racist, ethnonationalist, Neo-Nazi ideology. Those people think Russians are Mongol Asiatic Untermenschen, and the Ukrainian state promotes that. The Russian government does not promote this sort of ethnonationalism.

Wow, you really did swallow the official Russian stance. I bet you’d also have believed that Poland attacked that German radio station in 1939. Repeat after me: Russia has invaded Ukraine because the Russian government does not consider Ukraine to be a legitimate nation. But don’t take my word for it, read Putin’s essay on the matter. It just takes a minimum amount of actual reflection to see that that’s the real reason for the invasion.

It’s what the Kremlin and CCP want. They ruined their own countries now they’re expanding.

Or maybe we are just prepared to support the Ukraine in beating these war mongering, pillaging motherfuckers back to where they belong and also recognize that it might take some time.

But of course it’s all a conspiracy to feed money into our MIC

Not that it matters since this is such a different scenario.

Assange is just a person who cares about freedom of the press, going on these red-scare witch-hunts is going to blow back in peoples faces sooner rather than later because we already went through this before

Also promoting countries that have worse human rights abuses than Russia is not a winning strategy, 20% of Germans now believe in far-right candidates, something that Germany hasn’t seen since 1933, and that’s a serious issue that needs to be addressed, not brushed under the rug

While he’s there in Ukraine, he should do a tour of those minefields. That’s where this German equipment and the German-trained soldiers are going, seems only fair for him to see the the blooming landscapes he helped create.

I’m pretty sure the war would stop if we marched our politicians into mine fields.
